What to Expect

Each interior decorating client will have different expectations, time lines, and needs. During the design consultation, we will determine your project goals. Some projects need a turnkey process, some only need finishing touches.  Others are a mixture. Below are the different design steps.  To help solidify your design ideas, please read these steps before our initial consultation.

Design consultation:

Gabrielle Noelle, primary design consultant, will visit with you in your home, help you define your goals, and answer your questions about possibilities.

Design analysis:

Once contracted, Gabrielle’s next step is to analyze your space, take measurements and pictures and further refine your needs and expectations. She will share her ideas about the direction of the design and discuss color scheme, materials, and overall feel of the space.  This is a great time to mention special concerns like storage and pets.

Design process:

Then Gabrielle goes to work shopping for finishes, fabrics, window treatments, wall treatments, floor coverings and furniture.  She’ll acquire samples and brochures and custom make presentation boards and floor plans just for you.

Design presentation(s):

Gabrielle will present your design board just like you see on the television design shows!  This will illustrate the design elements using actual samples. But no design is set in stone.
Seeing all the elements in one view will often spark new ideas.  Changing your mind is okay.  Gabrielle Noelle will work with the design until you’re happy.  Then you’ll solidify a time line.

Shopping and delivery:

The ultimate joy of a design project is having it all come together … without having to worry about it.  Gabrielle Noelle will supervise all deliveries and installations so you don’t have to.
